Exploring Kitchener's Downtown
Most people in Waterloo will look at you like your crazy if you suggest heading down to check out downtown Kitchener. But one of my class mates and I had a great time wandering around the downtown. Kitchener has all the amazing buildings, and a store that sells nothing but German items... and is shaped like a castle.

It sounds like you're having a lot of fun. As you know, my mother lived in Kitchener. She recommends the Farmers' Market in Saint James, which you've seen and the Maple Sugar Festival in the spring. I think the Maple Sugar Festival is in Elmira or Saint James.
How are your classes?
